I have soldered an usb femqale port to my game pad.

Then I tried my usb stick (A) on it.
I registered my usb stick (A) as maxbox in actionreplay, put a file onto it,
but my xbox did not eat it Sad

However yesterday I lent another stick(B) from a friend. When I plug it into the xbox,
it accepts it, but in windows, i cannot register it (B) as a maxbox.

Then I head the idea, i put the data to A in windows, and lateron

cat A > image
cat image > B

in linux, and then try B in xbox

but it did not work out either. probably this is because the sizes of the sticks are different.
A is 256 MB, B is 128MB

ITs quite funny. I got another stick(advertisment from comapny) which just provides readonly data). if i put it into xbox. it keeps ringing and blinking, but nothing happens. stupid windows code Smile

Is there a way to make windows accept my usbstick as a max box ?(compatible devices enabled) ?

thank you very much!

Youve most likely read all these links but these are what I used to use a USB as a MC.

I hope one of those can direct you to help.

Make sure your useing the same usb port on your pc each time, if the usb drive dose not have a serial number it will rereg it when you hook it to a diff usb port.

i know once uve connected the device, u need to open it with a hex editor and change a couple lines to make it compatible with AR(action replay).

I cant quit remember how, but there are tutorials out there somewhere if not already on this thread.
