Thats cool. My mod is almost complete. The paint I'm using is taking a little longer to dry an set. I used a clear coat the next day and it ruined the first paint job. I had to start over again. The Jewel is the only thing left. I'm still not sure what resistors I need. I dont know how to use that calculator. I don't have any LED smarts.

Also, I went and paid $6 for the Y-plitter and found the pass through for $2 at office depot. I'm will be returning and exchanging, if it's just as simple to do as was shown in the tutorial.

It's cool I have to go back to radioshack anyways and get the resistors so I can return the Spltter there. I live right by Office Depot also, so that's not a bad trip. I'm going to let the case dry all day just to be sure, so I won't start on the jewel until tomorrow.

How many LED's can you add onto the xbox before it blows up? I've added 3 12v LED's to the jewel and they are just connected to the hard drive power supply. I'm thinking about adding some more but didn't wanna set my house on fire.

You can add lots of leds, had one guy on here that added a power supplie and hooked up 200 leds to his.

I run the stock fan 2 12volt fans 2 cold cathode lights and 4 leds on mine.

I cant say for sure how maney it can take but i woldent go over 50. Wink

Ok koots i punched it up and if you use 8 leds and wire it like in the guide i needs a 56ohm resistor but the 47 ohm you have will work fine. Wink

Like I said, I have a neutral color XBOX so I don't want the green LEDs to be too bright. Hopefuly the 47 ohm will tone it down a notch.
