I got the latest version of AID, and I noticed that in the .ISO file used on the Xbox, there is options to install SID... like either a Single boot one or Dual boot one or whatever. My question is: if you need a modded Xbox or dashboard to boot the AID disc, and the only way to softmod a retail hard drive is by using the gamesave exploits... why is SID included in the AID iso ? It would seem to me like it is a feature that would never be used... if I've already softmodded my Xbox (so that I can now use AID) ... so then why would I want to re-softmod it from the AID disc?

I think you have to have a softmod already in order for the AID disc to boot. You actually get the SID 5 off of the AID disc, so there is a reason for it being on the AID disc too.

Nice koots, you got it.
Its a nice thing to have on the aid disk if you want to reinstall your softmod, that way you dont need to reset the xbox to stock and start over.

Thanks Wes. I know I ask a lot of questions, but that's just my nature. You don't ask, you won't know. I just installed my controller port LEDs with the tut you gave me. How do you post pics on here. I'm going to give the XBOX a makeover and then I'll post some pics. I also need a good tut for the on/off light.

Just go in to your dash settings and change it to green and it should stay like that after the opening boot up.

I got it done. I found a tut for the LEDs. Did the controller ports and the eject today. Tomorrow I'm going for the jewel and body. How would I post a pic of it when I'm done?

Just cleared mine in less than five minutes using pure acetone and a few cotton balls. Easier than any tut on here.

I'm kind of going for the fogged up look. I was thinking about putting some paper behind it anyways. What kind of spray paint should I use. I'm going to buy that now. Jut not sure what would be best.
