I saw the program PBL and was wondering what it does exactly. From the description the site has it sounds like it allows you to boot any bios up. Does this mean I can use it to boot a modchip bios etc.. from a softmodded Xbox? _________________

the PBL loads a hacked ROM image (X2,evox M over the memory resident bios allowing execution of non M$ code and more features over the stock M$ bios

O k thanks wes that helped some, but let me see if I get this straight. PBL is kind of like an emu for running bios and it allows you to boot pretty much any bios? Does it run just like any app, e.g. load it up select bios and off I go? Also, is it runnalble on any Xbox; they talked about it not bein compatible w/ bios reviosions to come but how they word it confuses me a little. _________________

Does PBL work on a v1.6? because I have 2 and want a decent debug bios w/o having a dedicated debug xbox...

yes download and use the Evox Metoo M8 bios, the bios loader is included.

No, its not an emu its an XBE that simply replaces the memory resident bios with a new bios image

Thanks man, and I didn't actually mean it is an emu I'm meant it kinda is one but it loads a different bios instead of a rom. _________________
