Or you could flash that Duo x2 with the x2 5035 Bios, That would allow your XBox to boot up without even checking for the DVD rom. (it`ll even boot up without the A/v cable attached should you want some sorta headless server type set-up) _________________

I run a slim box with the 5035 bios.
Infact, you dont even need the 5035 Bios. Download EVtool, load your Bios of choice into it, then under the `Toggles` setting uncheck `DVD DRIVE CHECK` this`ll patch the bios so it boots with or without the DVD rom.

I think its on the aid disc and if its not you can get EVtools from eurasia.

That Evtool is very cool. It's been around forever and a day, but it definitely is still useful to this day... as we just found out.
