Ok so i was lookin around on AID Deluxe 4.10 and i seen bios checker so i clicked on it and under chip....it said i had a modchip or homebrew....i got my xbox from slackers so i dont think it has a modchip....can someone explain this to me?

Not too experienced with this kind of thing but I'll give it a shot...were you look around AID on your xbox? If you have AID on your XBOX then you prolly have a softmod, not a modchip...if im wrong someone please correct me!! _________________

Well lets go down the list here.
Has it ever been taken apart?
Are stickers still covering all the bolts on the bottem?
Do you have AR saves on it for 007, splinter cell, or mechassult?
When you look in the left hand side vents do you see an led light?

Wes:Well i guess the sticker thing is pretty blunt....i should have thought of that first....which obviously shows that it hasnt been taken apart and im not sure when i got it i just deleted everythign on there mem saves and stuff before i knew anything bout softmodding....and no on the LED....Thanks for the reply though....but im still confused bc it still says modchip or homebrew.....

Well the softmod is a home brew app.
Home brew is just a term for a program or app that wasent made by the big biz .

Its just the apps way of saying your modded some way.
