Just need to find instructions on net for it now so when I fix my error 16 I can look at installing a dashboard.
Thanks a million

Now I am confused the site which shows it as a duo x also shows the same board as ax ecuter with the following spec XBox X-ecuter Chip
1. Only 1 wire used (but 9 soldering points)2. Easy to install - 5 minutes
3. Direct boot all backups 4. Direct boot all original imports
5. Macrovision protection off 6. DVD dongle lock off
7.100% Evolution-X compatible 8. No patches hack
9. No reset on eject hack 10. HDD patch for larger drives
11. Works on all Xbox models 12. No version detection needed
I can only see one wire that is soldered do you think its a copy ?

fix for error 16:
1. There are some bios'es around that allow the chip to boot past the clocksetting. (do a search!). So how do you get that bios on your chip because you cant boot to a flash program or something? Well you need to have an external flasher.
It seems the m8 bios will take care for you of booting past the clocksetting. Or use the latest Xecutor bios
2. This is the more easy and newbie friendly strategy
-Get a friend with a modded xbox.
-Unlock his hdd with eeprom management from a slayer evo-x cd.
-Than, place his hdd in your xbox.
-Boot with your chip on.
-Now the xbox DOES find a dashboard when you boot in original mode and you can set the time in the msdashboard clock settings.
-Shut off xbox and remove your friends hdd
-PLace his hdd back in his xbox and lock it again
-Install your hdd
-(clock has been set) So boot up with slayer cd.
-Install normally whatever you wanna install
-lock hdd
If you get an error 13 after this, please read up on the error 13
fix for error 13:
You can use the dashupdate found on most new xbox games! Be sure to 1st unplug your ethernet cable before you do so!!!
Besides that, just use a good installation disc and all is fine. Use a 2.6 slayer or something similar

the site is http://www.fuzing.com/qrx/xbox-chip . However I found a picture on XBOX scene a moment ago which seemed to support the fact it is an executer chip. Unfortuntley I do not know anyone who I can hotswap with but I will try the HD Recovery that I have to do it via my PC.

Yeah I thikn the Duo x is an incorrect picture as my MOD defintley only has the one wire and it states two in the spec so I am going to assume I a an Xecutor MOD. I will try HD recovery tommorow and start again this time with slayer 2.7 as I did not have much joy with AID 4.1.
