Has anyone ever tried to put a laptop 2.5" Hdd in a xbox?
I mean its very smal and compact less room = more airflow....

I dont think it would be a question of the hdd fitting, it would be a question of the drive being lockable. Fingers crossed, this could be a real cool mod. _________________

I FOUND THIS!!!
IF YOU COULD GET THE LAPTOP HDD IN THERE AND CLEAR THE AREA OF THE HDD AREA YOU COULD INSERT HIS MINI PROJECTOR TO IT..

I was thinkin you could make a mount and put it under the dvd rom or something....
Please give feedback and more ideas...i'm serious about this...
It can be done and just as easily as a normal IDE drive. If you have the adapter and its lockable, it'll work fine. I just put a 40gb Seagate laptop drive into my xbox and my temperatures dropped slightly as well. Now I just need to build a custom drive mount.
