Greetings everyone...just wanted to know if anyone knew what the modded xbox's best temperature was. I am running my stock fan at top speed and also have a fan blowing into the side vent of my xbox. I am mostly worried about my hard drive which is a 7200 rpm model that naturally runs hot. So if anyone out there could tell me the temperature where I should start getting worried at I would appreciate it. Thanks again Very Happy

I have had my Xbox running since 2004. I have a HALO L.E. Green Xbox, with a SmartXX Chip, 320GB 7200RPM W.D. HDD and even after hour of gameplay it runs about 45c - 50c max! You shouldnt have any problems! Keep the dust out & it should run for years! Laughing

I replaced the stupid dry pad underneath the heatsink on the CPU with better thermal paste. That dropped my temps around 6 C. I can't get the heatsink off the GPU though.
