Hi, Im kage. I really screwed up my xbox. Very Happy

I tried to soft mod my xbox using the Splinter Cell exploit. I got linux up and running and started using Evox. My goal was to get XBMC up and running. I ftp'd all the files over and when I restarted my xbox, Evox still came up. So instead of renaming the xbmc xbe file default.xbe I acidentally erased it. Now I cannot get my xbox to run anything, just the dark screen saying you need to contact support.

So I bought a hard drive off of ebay, thinking I could just swap them out. Oh no... that doesn't work. So can I copy the hard drive I got off of ebay somehow and then copy it over to the old hard drive? How should I proceed?
Thanks in advance.

if you hook them both up to your computer take your XBOX hard drive and copy your C drive+E and your ms backup including your eeprom files and folders, then you can get rid of your XBOX hard drive and use xbox hdm v1.9 to create a new hard drive using the one you had bought off of ebay. i will get you the tutorial and post it on here. if you have any questins or concerns feel free to post here.

use this tutorial you wont need to worry about your XBOX hard drive being locked, because if you have already install evox it should have made a backup of it, if you used the Splinter Cell Exploit. if you have any questions feel free to ask ill assist you in any way i can.

In fact I just plugged it into my router.. so I could check what IP address my router handed out... and it doesn't even have it on recored. So ftp is out of the question.
