Okay I recently found out I have a Version 1.1 Xbox. I know that after I install my Xecuter 3CE I'll need to flash FlashBIOS 3.03 (It's compatible with all versions). A FlashBIOS allows for the flashing of another BIOS. So anyway, what BIOS do I need to flash after this? I planning on installing a Hard Disk Drive bigger than 137 GB if that makes a difference. Detailed information would be appreciated (if im wrong please point it out to me). Do you flash a BIOS the same way as a FlashBIOS? Can someone please clarify the difference I'm pretty sure I know, but I need confirmation. Thanks in advance. _________________ |Xbox|NTSC|Version 1.1|Hardmodded with Xecuter 3CE Chip and Xapt3r Solderless Kit|Seagate 320 GB Hard Disk Drive|Phillips DVD Drive|Running Xbox Media Center Dashboard with MC360 Skin|

Flash it with X3 3294.bin for V1.0 to V1.5 Xboxes. Do a search on Google if you need help finding the file.

You shouldn't need to flash your X3 with flashbios, it should have come with FlashBios 3.03, meaning you just need to flash your desired bios to the chip.
I'd recommend X3.3294.bin, as Mathgammon said, but the choice is really up to you _________________

Does it make a difference that my new Hard Disk Drive is going to be over 137 GB. In the Auto Installer Deluxe Manual it has stuff about BIOS's and theres like ones for over 137 GB and ones for under 137 GB can someone clear this up? Thanks. _________________ |Xbox|NTSC|Version 1.1|Hardmodded with Xecuter 3CE Chip and Xapt3r Solderless Kit|Seagate 320 GB Hard Disk Drive|Phillips DVD Drive|Running Xbox Media Center Dashboard with MC360 Skin|

Can someone also please explain this whole deal with like on on off off and all that like there is for things you can set to on or off. Also why are there different BIOS sizes like 1 MB and 512 KB and others. Can someone explain this to me in detail. Thanks lol. _________________ |Xbox|NTSC|Version 1.1|Hardmodded with Xecuter 3CE Chip and Xapt3r Solderless Kit|Seagate 320 GB Hard Disk Drive|Phillips DVD Drive|Running Xbox Media Center Dashboard with MC360 Skin|

Thanks the information really helps. I only have one more question. What is the advantage to having more than one BIOS flashed on your chip? _________________ |Xbox|NTSC|Version 1.1|Hardmodded with Xecuter 3CE Chip and Xapt3r Solderless Kit|Seagate 320 GB Hard Disk Drive|Phillips DVD Drive|Running Xbox Media Center Dashboard with MC360 Skin|

in this case, just in case one of the files corrupts or something, you can just switch banks and boot instead of having to reflash everything.

Oh ok that makes sense thanks. Why are modchips prone to corruption or something? _________________ |Xbox|NTSC|Version 1.1|Hardmodded with Xecuter 3CE Chip and Xapt3r Solderless Kit|Seagate 320 GB Hard Disk Drive|Phillips DVD Drive|Running Xbox Media Center Dashboard with MC360 Skin|
