First post..Hello everyone ..Just one quick question:
Is it at all possible to take a softmodded xbox and add an LCD screen to the front panel, much like the ones you can add to certain modchips?
You know..The ones that display the internal temp etc...

No you can't because it connects to the mod-chip itself, so there is no part in the xbox you could hook that up too. Gonna have to get the Xecuter 3 Ce to be able to use it lol. Think SmartXXV3 works too. _________________

SmartXX v2 & 3 support it along with Xecuter, but no it is impossible because it needs to be soldered to the points, however, if you are a master at computers (and I mean master to the point you'd never have to ask this question) you could probably figure a way to do it by doing a route through the IDE. However, as far as know it's impossible or would end up costing you more then the modchip. So if you really want it, you really want a chip

The only thing you really need an external lcd for is to make your box look cool.... Otherwise its completely useless. _________________
