6. Use the "Create C Backup" option to backup your C drive. To back up the Eeprom you'll need to use the Evolution X dashboard. The Eeprom backup is stored at C:\Backup (this can't be changed unfortunately) so please remember this.
I don't get whether it means that a backup of the Xbox hard drive will be created onto the Xbox hard drive itself, or rather that the Xbox must be connected to a computer, and the Xbox hard drive will be backed up onto the computer's C drive.
I hope someone will be patient enough to clear my doubt.

Use mine here at this link, much easier and use my SID 4 file. Use my tut and you get a flawless softmod.

I'm not familiar with PAl boxes (I've only modded NTSC) but, it says right in the begining of the tutorial --> "Important Note: Don’t use this softmod installer if your xbox is a region 2 PAL xbox. These xboxes don’t like the EEPROM patching much. If you have a region 2 PAL xbox don’t use this installer, use SID 4.5 instead. Likewise, if your xbox is NTSC or any other region PAL xbox use this installer.". So... assuming this statement is correct, which I do, use SID 4.5 instead. _________________

Hiya mate,
I have and mod, loads of PAL Xbox's (being in the UK and all!). The easiest way to get your softmod installed is by using the SID5.01 / AID 4.01 combination.
You'll need to download both of those programs, but they have no problems running on PAL Xbox's.
