I finally got a memory card and a 2nd modded xbox and I want to softmod my 2nd console with the splinter cell exploit but, EVERYTIME I download the game exploit files (UDATA files) they are always corrupt when I get them on the memory card. Where can I get non-corrupt files?!!
Not sure if SID5 has any bug issues, but 3.1 should be fine.

Ok.. I'm transfering the files to my my xbox via ftp and then saving them to my mem card to use in the other xbox. Here's the thing, the tutorial says to transfer them to the mem card via the MS dash. My xbox is soft modded so I do not have access to the MS dash. I was just transfering to the mem card with the xbmc file manager. Would this cause the exploit files to be corrupted when I add them to the unmodded box?

Use my tut here for softmodding with SID 4, and no you don't need the ms dash to transfer. Also your getting the files wrong because the softmod launcher and game save must still be in the .rar format when you put it on. If its extracted first then it will not work.

Ok I downloaded everything right from your tut.
I have to transfer the files to the mem card while they are still in the compressed format? The game will read them?

OK what you do is look into the file and look for a file named tdata or udata, not sure which one it is for this...believe udata. inside that there will be a .zip file, keep that file compressed and add it to you mem card.

I wasnt using an action replay so I just extrated the 2 data folders and put them on my memcard. That worked great for me. GOt the mod all installed.
