they are only easy to get 2nd hand now and go for about £40 / $80 so not to bad. but they are only 2.2MP .

im a happy owner of the canon SLR eos 350D. so i have no need for another camera. i wonder how well it plays DOOM

A-effin mazing. I should grab a few Kodaks from work and try that, lol. That's sweet. I can image what my DI (Digital Imaging) supervisor would say if he saw me playing DOOM on a picturemate, lol. "Wtf... LEMMIE PLAY!!!"
