hi all sorry if its in the wrong section thought it would be safer putting it in here first.
Alright i am trying to help a mate fix his xbox it has been chipped by someone else and then his kids may have deleted some files. i thought maybe i could reload all the dashboard files but now it wont work. i want to know if i could reflash the chip or remove it and softmod it for him.
it boots up to the xbox logo but thats it. it has the evox logo in the to left corner to.

, your best bet is to look into AID 3.1(Auto Installer Deluxe). It will install the dashoboard for you again,, if you have already tried this, then i have no clue what to tell you except as you asked about reflashing the chips BIOS, that will be the only other way if AID happens to fail. But I highly doubt it will fail, infact i think it will get you right back where you need to be as it's loading that logo and nothing else because theres nothing to load and its chipped.

If there was no chip it would load with something like an error 13 instead of just loading the logo. Because there are no files for it to load, it freezes at the logo, understand me there?

Thats all i have to say on this matter, hope this helps. Also, AID should be in the downloads section right HERE at xb-hq. If more help is needed please let us know and we will get you on your way!
