ok i cant get the power button to work correctly when i try to in stall the font panel. now this is not a technical issue, im talking about a physical issue. when i put the power / eject button piece in the x3 control panel and then click the power / eject circuit board on behind it, the power button wont push in or out, its like pushing something solid. there is no play...is this a common problem? ive tried taking it off and on and i just cant seem to get it right. if anyone has any experience with installing the x3 contron panel...id appreciate some assistance here.
thanks

this control panel is the hardest darn thing to get assistance or tutorials on for some reason.
i figured team-xecuter would have more, but they dont.

I had the same problem with my x3cp. I found that when you put the lid on, it squeezes the front panel, and the buttons wont push. I just left my lid loose, then later just took the control panel off completely. _________________

i finally got it to work and im not going to touch it. i had to mess with it for 2 days. then finally it was just all of a sudden "in the right spot" i guess and the buttons work.
i would have figured Xecuter would have had these issues taken care of...since the panel has been out for some time now.

Oh yeah - wait till you enable your password in config live! -DON'T,
Or you start having booting gremlins
I don't think it's a polished product at all. To get my switch to fit properly I had to file it down and also cut a chunk out of the PCB where it was crushing the LCD harness.
The firmware/software is buggy and I agree Xecuter should have their act together by now - esp at their prices.
