Hi All,
My xbox has been modded and running XBMC for a long time.
Last night I decided to update to the latest XBMC and I screwed it up; now I have an XBOX that wont boot.

I now need to get ftp access to the xbox so I can make some repairs, get it booting to a working dashboard again.

I still have my bootable dynebolic CD, and the xbox boots to this fine.

I can ping the IP address, but I cant ftp to it. I cant remember if you have to do something to enable the ftp server on the dynebolic install? Anyway, once its booted I cant do anything with it as I dont have a keyboard I can plug into it.

Very frustrating, does anyone know how I can get a working FTP server to get my xbox alive again?

I wouldn't know where to begin with that dyne:bolic. I myself havent fooled around with it. but if i had screwed up my dash i would look for an auto installer to get things right. I assume you already have the drive partitioned, you can download AID 3.01 and use it to install the dash you need. but i also assume if there is a better way some folks will be along shortly to let ya know.

AP is right, download a copy of AID 3.1 and since dyne bolic boots uim sure it will boot, and has the latest XBMC build on there so its even updated for ya. Wink

There is a torrent download for it in the xbox-hq.com downloads section, i really would suggest it as it can also do many other things like install applications, emulators, hell you can even FTP with it!!!
