I am experienced in modding. I have softmodded lots of xboxes but I am trying to do one right now and it isn't working. I believe I made the xboxhdm disc properly but after creating the drives and locking it, when I plug it in to my xbox I get the "xbox requires service" screen with no error codes. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have tried downloading a new copy of xboxhdm and I have made two different linux files and tried it twice with the same result. This is my bosses box and I told him I would get it to him by Monday. Please help.

Is your Xbox a V1.0...?

If so the V1.0 dosent give error codes

But i think your problem is that you may have locked your HDD with the wrong eeprom.bin file.....(mabe)

That makes sense. I'll try again from scratch. I have been deleting old files today trying to be clear of what I am doing. I have not modded a box in a little while but I can't believe how much trouble I have had with this.
