My ethernet port recently gave me a few problems......it died.
It wouldnt show any connection - no ip, no led, no network.....no nothing!!!
After spending hours trawling the internet for solutions I came up with nothing. Nowhere had any solutions or tutorials to my problem. Yet many people had the same problem as me!!!

People had tried replacing it, fixing it, and even breaking it.....no success!!!

I'm not sure if my answer will work everytime, but it has worked for me. All it took was 1 wire and some solder. But have been wondering wether or not its worth doing a tutorial. Or if there is already one that I missed.

Advice needed!!!
Has anybody else already figured this out?
Is there already a tutorial?
Should I make a tutorial?
