Posted: Thu Dec 21, 2006 1:49 am Post subject: Back Up of C and E for doing upgrades on a softmodded box
I am about to upgrade my new HD by way of using the PC. I tried earlier with a small HD but didnt have the correct eeprom backup and I assume thats why its not working. It is now locked and I cant redo it unless there is a way with out an eeprom Now I have the correct eeprom but my backups of the C and E drive are from after I soft modded it. Does anyone know if this is ok before I mess up my new HD. Also is it possible to just stick the hard drive in a soft modded xbox and use AID to do all the work? Thanks.

if you been on xbl before with a stock hard drive and you try to use a bigger hard drive for xbl they will find a change in serial number and ban you , as long as you have your eeprom.bin you dont need a E contents on E folder you DO need a ms dash files on the C ( check my sig) it has to be extracted _________________ |FTP|Useful Links| softmod vs hardmod questions
