If so or if not, what brand drive do you have?

I have not tried...but on another note I burned Ninja Gaiden to a DL Verbatim DVD9 disk today..

I now have a 12.99 coaster...HA

I'll try RiDATA in hopes that my Samsung will be able to read burned DVD9 media.

I am looking for support on this subject as we speak. I haven't gave up as I know it can be done. The fact that my first movie I tried burning on DL media crapped out too makes me think it's something I am doing.

I tried to burn Lord of the Rings Two Towers to DL media and all I get is black screen...Sad

$13? Is that how much those discs cost? A 10-pack of DL discs would cost more than the burner? Sounds like HP's racket... sell $50 printers that need $70 ink cartridges!

Yeah, right now DL media is way high! Typically, you can only find on the internet. RiDATA has some disks for 9.99 but vertaim is 12.99 at most online stores.

BestBuy just came out (in select stores) with a 3 Pack of Verbatim DL Disks for $34.99.

As more burners get out there and more stores start stocking..price will come down.

Now I just need to stop making coasters!
