I want to be able to copy some of my son's movies over to his XBox HDD. We've tried this a couple times without success. Each time, the screen is full of static and the audio is garbled. I thought I remember the guy that modded our system telling me that it was possible but have yet ot figure out how to do it. Any help for this noobie dad would be appreciated....

If you look in the applications folder on the xbox, there should be an application called DVD 2 Xbox. Just start that up, it's easy to use. It also allows you to copy games to the hardrive. Let me know how you get on.

Try DVD2Xbox. I don't know how it works with movies, but I know it works with games.

I personally use dvd 2 xbox now. I used to use boxplorer because dvd 2 xbox had to be messed around with in the ini file but the new version works well for f and g drive systems. After copying using that program I use xbmc to play...make sure the stack feature is enabled in the folder that has your movie...as for the audio, etc...it may be contributed to the settings being wrong....one of the buttons, i forget which one but it was something like the white button, etc changes some settings around while the movie is playing...give that stuff a shot...later. _________________ Xbox V1.6
