I spent like an hour trying to delete files to make room for a game, so i deleted some files but needed like 20 more mb. I uninstalled dvd2xbox 0.7.6 from the aid 3.04 disc. Then i installed dvd2xbox 0.7.3 from the aid 3.0 disc. the 0.7.3 didnt take up so much room. I had like 7 mb left over after i ripped my game to my hd. Then dvd2xbox said that it renamed 12 files, because this never happened before.(i used 0.7.6)
I FTPd the files to my computer and it said something about it not finding a few files. With like 7 mb left i tried to play the original disc but it wouldnt work. It kept on taking me to ms dash gamesaves location. then i tried playing it with evox and i wouldnt go. So i tried playing off the HD and it would also not work. I deleted the game off my Hd and the game plays fine.
1. when i couldnt play the game is the problem that i only had 7mb remaining?
2. If i download the dvd2xbox 0.7.7can i just install it without having previous versions of dvd2xbox?
3. Is xbcopy any better, and is it a smaller size than dvd2xbox?
