Yes, you can FTP anything into your xbox. But, the game won't play.

If you rip the CD onto your PC, can't you then turn it into a .iso file? or, is the best Idea to just back it up to your xbox harddrive throuhg EVOx or whatever? Does backing up work? I mean, i have some games at home that I want to back up, and some DVD's too..

I heard there was some extra complications about DVD's though...

Sorry if I Sound noobish, I'm still trying to learn

YOu can copy games straight to your xbox's hdd if your xbox is modded and set up with evox and whatnot. YOu cannot just copy the game contents from the disk to your pc and then transfer it. Well you can, but the game wont work. See the cd reader or dvd reader on your ocmputer cannot read all layers of the game disk, thats whay it is such a pain in the ass if your xbox dvd drive dies, because you cannot just replace it with and dvd drive.

Hey redJello!! Whats up man? How's the machine treating you?? My daughter took pictures of all the modded xbox's that I have done to school (ones where there was case modding) and all the kids loved your machine!! Of course they liked the ones all lit up too, but my daughters teacher said that all the kids (second grade) were saying, I wish my mommy and daddy knew your mommy and daddy, then I could come over.

Actually, you would only want to turn it into an .iso if you plan on burning to a disk, not to the HD. If you already have a game in .iso format, you can use CXbox Tool 2 to extract the files and then FTP those to your xbox HD to play. Otherwise, and this is what I do because I usually want it backed up to disk too, you can just burn the .iso to disk using Nero, CloneDVD2, or any other program that you like and then insert the disk into your xbox and use PxHDD Loader or DVD2Xbox to rip to HD.

I usually go the PxHDD or DVD2Xbox because then I am assured that the game is patched properly and it works. I haven't ran across any yet that haven't worked for me.

What they are saying is that if you have a modded xbox, don't even bother ripping it onto your PC cause your PC can't get all the files. Just back it up using EVOx or whatever dashboard you are using. Its alot easier that way... I think. Unless you want to have a cd backup for the game, then it gets a bit more complicated, but still relatively easy.

Realmccloy-

I love it. Its all that I wanted and more. It is kinda pretty.Smile I am thinking about (when I get the money after I become VIP) buying the already soldered controller ports so that it will light up too Smile Thanks for te great work

Let me know, I can get you a better deal than everyone else on those.. I can't believe places charge 39.00 per controller port!! That is ludicrous!

Hey smiley, if you have a modded machine and want to rent a game from blockbuster and back it up to your HD here is what you have to do.

There is no need to rip it from your PC. Any software that you see on the internet that tells you they can do it is garbage. Trust me, prior to modding my machine, I tried several pieces of software. Nothing works the way they claim..

Once your machine is chipped and your modchip is flashed with a hacked bios and you have a hacked dashboard loaded, all you need to do is install either of these applications. PxHDD Loader or DVD2Xbox. You then open up either application (remember this is on your xbox) and put the disk in the xbox game tray. After about four seconds you press the button that it tells you to and it will begin to rip the game to your Xbox HD.

Then, take the game out, bring it back to BB and viola. You have a full version xbox game on your Xbox HD. Now, if you only plan on having the retail HD keep in mind it is only 10GB. You will need a larger one if you plan on storing games. I now have about 35 on my 120GB HD and 22GB to spare. Plus I have loads of other shit.

If you don't upgrade your HD, then you can FTP the game from your xbox to your PC for storage. If you cant keep it on your PC due to lack of space, then you use your PC and programs we have here like CXbox Tool2 and turn the game into an .ISO. Once it's in that form, you can then burn to a DVDR disk, delete it from your PC and your xbox HD and you have it now on disk.

See....easy! Wink
