Hello all.
I have a solderless X-Chip, using Slayers v2.6 for installation and a new 320GB seagate hard drive. I do not have a G: drive and I've read many different articles for what my problem could be. I downloaded what I think is the M8Plus_16 BIOS and I enabled G: drive in Evodash and Avalaunch and it still does not show up. I cannot format it from the Slayers installer either.
-could I be doing something wrong?
-is the X-Chip able to use the G: drive?
-should I have prepped the 320GB in anyway?
-is there a tool I could use to format the drive properly?

The chip itself doesn't matter, it depends what bios you have flashed. Just make sure its lba48 capable, and then enable it in the bios _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Thank you for the replies.
It was the BIOS. Once I got EVTOOL and edited the BIOS file to use LBA I was fine.
