Ok i learned how to flash the bios to my chip. when I reboot xbox it says
executer rocks my box the goes to a screen like ms dash. do I need to install
a dash besides flashing the bios? If so are dashboards part of aid 3 or do I have to download one? confussion has really set in.

if its a stock xbox you have modded, yes you have to install a hacked dash which is also on the AID disk. _________________

can't get aid 3.0 to boot. Put disk in drive shut xbox off rebooted in the cornner it says evo8 (running m8_.bin. then goes to msdash.
switch bios to x2_5035.bin reboot xbox it says xecuter rocks my box then
loads mshdash.
rebooted back to xenium gold 24k screen rebooted went to xenium screen
so i went to launch item , add new item, launch from flash, select d drive,
aid 3 shows up, hit a button to open but it says error:file doesn't fit!
I burned aid using nero 7 just like I burned my bios files
still trying to get a dash on here
please advise

I have a 16x dvd burnner and the slowest it goes is 6x. so I burned at 6x.
If you think this is the problem I can ask my friends to burn it for me at 2x.

ok we burnned at 2x using nero 7 same as before, xbox can't recognize this disc. make sure it's an xbox game, ext...
we tried memorex dvd-r, sony dvd-r, tdk dvd-r,
used aid updater to load aid iso, then addon packs,then updater created the iso file. saved to desk top under aid3iso so it would be easy to find.
went to nero burn rom, dvd iso, under multisession and iso and made sure settings were the same as I found at forum here, then burnned disks at 2x.
don't understand why it won't pick up home brew apps. the xenium chip has been flashed with bios and loaded. It says evox in the cornner when started
when other bios loaded it says xecuter rocks my box. I don't see any where
on the xenium screen (when that bios loaded) to load a dash.
anyone have a clue?

when I am on the xenium screen launch menu, add new item,
next screen is tsop flash hard drive
click on flash
all drives show up including d
click on d and it shows aid 3
clicked on aid 3 and it said file is too big
I know this is for loading bios only but it could read the disk
I have loaded 2 different bios by dvd with this dvd drive
just with no dash I can't seem to load homebrew from msdash
to bad for me cause I can't ftp or connect to internet with msdash

the chip does have an ftp function, but i cant see how its not reading the aid disk, it should read it. _________________

I just tried burning aid3 with a memorex dvd-rw
did the cold boot and it still comes up with evox in the cornner then msdash
then the can't recognize disc scree.
when I go into xenium screen under setting, ftp settings, ftp server on
I have the ethernet card in my computer, crossover cable going to xbox
when i turn on xbox my computer pops up a window saying little or no connectivity. when i go to flash fxp my computer shows up on the right screen, on the left screen I click the lightning bolt, go to quick connect
server or url I typed xbox port 21
username xbox
password xbox
remote path I typed the ip of xbox
clicked connect
lower right cornner says unable to resolve host: xbox
I know I'm doing something wrong but don't know what
If I can ftp get files on hard drive i might be able to start aid

I was wondering
my chip is flashed with xenium os2 on bank 1,x2_5035 on bank 2, evox m8 on bank 3.
power button boots evox
eject boots xenium unless i hit a button withing 5 seconds then msdash
I can switch evox and executer through xenium screen.
when I boot evox or x2 it say config loading then goes to x screen then loads msdash (no other dashboard loaded)
Can't cold boot aid3
is this because of msdash?

it has nothing to do with the ms dash, its the chip and it sounds like its not doing what it should be _________________

the AID disc is burned from an xISO image. The Xenium OS will not be able to recognise this disc!
