Cant figure out how to ftp into xbox
chip is installed running legal cromwell bios xenium gold chip
need to ftp because i cant get dvd to read media to load 5035 bios
or aid 3 any suggestions
i downloaded cute ftp, flash fxp but cant make connectious
using crossover cable

ummm ur gonna need to flash that bios b4 u can ftp into the system. theres a network way to do this too.
step 1:
----------
plug in ur crossover cable to u computer and xbox
step 2:
----------
go to start>conncect to> right click on the ethernet adapter.
step 3:
----------
go to advance and share the connection
step 4:
----------
boot ur xbox and go to network flash and it will give u an ip address
step 5:
----------
open up IE and put ftp://"insert that ip address here"
step 6:
-----------
click browse on the webpage that comes up and select the bios u want to put on from ur computer
step 7:
-----------
hit flash and DONT TURN OFF UR XBOX IT WILL TURN ITSELF OFF
then do a cold boot of aid and put on ur dash and all that shit _________________

a cold boot is when u put the game in ur xbox then turn it off then turn it back on but to read aid 3 u need to have the bios flashed did u get it flashed yet? _________________

when i boot up xbox under settings there is network settings
which gives me an ip
under launch menu only options are tsop flash hard drive
dont see network flash

under settings, ftp setting, ftp server on
under local area connection 3 (my ethernet card)
speed 100.0mbps
satus limited or no connectiity
does this mean my card is not set up right to connect to xbox
felling really stupid
please help
