ok a little confused by your post i believe your asking if the led should be red, yes depends on the softmod used, you can change the led in you dash if supported _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

With SID4.5 the eject LEDs are red to indicate that the softmod is enabled. If you've install the eject=retail version of the mod then when you power on with eject it should be green to indicate that the softmod is not on. _________________

When do you get error 21? I usually means the MS files are corrupt. The clock loop MAY be linked. In my personal experience if you boot after the xbox has had no power, you get the clock popping up. What I've experienced is if you softmod without powering down at all, the clock loop will continue after the softmod.
Lemme quote:
Quote:
1.Xbox turns on 2. several checks are done for hardware, incuding RAM, HD, and DVD-DRIVE, just to test if they are present 3.Xbox checks SYSTEM TIME -> if no time is found -> boot dash off hard drive to set time 4. Xbox looks for default.xbe on DISC, if it is not found, goto 5 5. Xbox boots dash off of Hard drive
I suspect that it changes a file temporarily until the next boot when the time is detected, and so changes back to regular boot method. If this is the case, then the softmod may keep this permanently due to the virtual C.
If I'm wrong on this someone could please correct _________________
