hi guys...im new to modding....but i have a v1.6 xbox with 200 gig western digital hdd.....my xbox is softmodded...installed hdd with a cold swap then cloned.....a friend did it 4 me....i dont understand this stuff....i just know wut he told me...anyways i have unleash dash but i cant update it. ive been reading posts on a few modding websites and they all say that yhe server is down, never to come back. Is there a way i can download the updates and ftp them over? if so, what is my destination folder? do i have to manually run the exe? or is it an ebe?
when i do try to update unleash from the server, it starts to download, goes to 99%, then says unabe to contact the server.
as far as modding goes, this is awesome.ive been able to run jump faster/higher, make vehicles faster etc, and remove barriers with cool patches from the modding community. i appreciate everyones help.

hey pezzar, much thanks for your help in this matter.
my version of unleash is 0.37.1218A build 543
i was wondering if anyone has ever installed larger hdd, then uninstalled unleash? if i could safely do that, then i think i could install an updated version of unleash? my reason for wanting all this is b/c i have a hi-def widescreen tv.
also i downloaded a few skins for unleash, and when i pick one, save it, then reboot, my skin isnt saved.
all help is appreciated

The download doesn't work anymore. Burn AID3.10 to a DVD-R and use that to upgrade UnleashX.
As for it not saving skins, you have to hit A and Enter at the same time to save it. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

no problem man, that version of unleashx is way off base. Check the donwloads section of this site or xbins for the latest unleashx v0.39.0222A

its were u get all the files like bioses and programs along with games (homebrew) if u go there download the starwars game thats a good game. _________________

hey zombie (or anyone who knows)
when i go to xbinx.com i get a web page like the old unleash.com like it is no longer in exestence???? help!
i am also wondering....my unleash shows me i have 120 gig hdd....but the hdd that is installed is actually a western didgital 160 gig caviar se 7200rpm. anyone know how to recover that lost 40 gig???

UnleashX is out of production, yes.
As for the drive, you'll need to enable your G drive in your dash and if your using a chip you'll need a bios that supprts lba48(most are called 137) _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

YAY!!!! thanks to everyone here who has helped me, I now have updated my unleash x dashboard. I found a tutorial here on www.xbox-hq.com for performing the upgrade, its just a matter of renaming the unleash.xbe file evoxdash.xbe. i now have hi-def halo2, the 40 gigs I lost when when i installed a larger HDD, and other features that are way cool!!!!!

PS i made an easy unleash upgrade tut WITH the file attached. hit me up if u need it.
