Hi guys....
kind of a newbie...had my box modded by a friend of a friend a while back, and don't know how to update it...if anyone can give me any clue as to where to start I would greatly appreciate it. I've had it about 2 1\2 yrs with no changes...pls help.

I have no clue which type of mod I have, but I want to upgrade everything from avalaunch, dvd2xbox....everything....where can I get AID3.10? I don't even know how to FTP, I just play it....I need some serious help.

You've come to the right place. AID = Auto Installer Deluxe. It will help you upgrade everything on your box.
You can download the torrent file here. Once thats downloaded, unpack the .rar files and burn the .iso within to a DVD-R(memorex, if you have them) and then put it into your xbox. You can use a program called Winrar and you can download it here http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar361.exe. Just install that, then right click on the file and select extract files.

if you read the .pdf's that come with the download it explains in full detail how to unpack and burn the ISO. but I believe the tut shows you how to use nero. You can use dvddecrypter (www.mrbass.org/dvdrip) to burn instead. Just drag the .iso to the Decrypter Icon, wait for it to load, pop in a blank disc and click on the green arrow. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

OKAY....SO WHAT EXACTLY AM i UNPACKING...iS THERE LIKE A STEP BY STEP GUIDE? I CAN'T LOCATE AN ISO ANYTHING, AND HAVE THE SLIGHTEST CLUE AS TO WHAT I AM DOING TO EVEN THINK OF CREATING ONE....

okay...does it have to be a -R disc? All I have are +R dual layerd discs(memorex). I created a disc and my box says the disc can't be read, make sure it's an xbox disc, or it's damaged or something....help me out guys

xbox dvd drives are fussy about media that you use, the dual layer discs especially, you need to get a dvd-r, i recommend memorex, Do you know what dvd drive you have? _________________
