hi ive been altering my xbox alot recently and was wondering about my bios it says its the Xecuter2 4983.06 does this work without a chip becouse i cant seem to find 1 in my xbox and if so can i improve on this .
any help would be welcome

you could perform a TSOP flash with that bios or a later version but its extremely risky

It sounds like you already have a tsop flash. If you have opened your box a chip is pretty obvious.
If it is a chip, there is nothing wrong with 4983, it does what you need and has live blocking. Unless you are a tinkerer, then one 5035 is nice bacause the ini allows on the fly editing without reflashing. thanks fo all your help i think i will stick to the current bios for now
as im a bit unsure about the TSOP procedure and i dont want to screw up my xbox ive allready got a dead xbox in the cuboard and dont want another
