I have a chipped ver. 1.0 Xbox. (Xenium Ice) I have an old EvoX BIOS.( in Xenium tools it shows EVOXM8 -Y)
I recently downloaded AID 3.1. I extracted the iso and used the update tool to add the add-ons. I remade the .iso, and burned it with K3b. Disc booted fine. It founf my virgin WD 160GB Drive. I formatted as stated in the .pdf.
Everything looked right C:499MB E:4GB F:144 G:0. I prepared the e: and f:.
I then did the one click install. I wanted to try this first to get a feel for all the apps since there are some I am unfamilar with. The install finished fine, but when I rebooted it boots into the MSdash. What am I missing?

I boot into MSDASH no apps no hacked dash. Plays games as normal.
I must have misread the .pdf in the 3.1 .rar I am mildly retarded.
I will just go extract the .iso and burn with K3B.
Is this correct:
Boot with AID 3.1.iso
Format large HD mine is 160gb.
prepare e: and f:.
one click install
Mod chip user DCHP
Setup with UnleashX as Dash
Click finished. Reboot.

I think the issue here is that your M8 bios is probably looking for specific files(C:\evoxdash.xbe, for example) but the dash install to F or E, etc.
The addon packs work fine. I suggest using the Bios flashing addon. Then, when your in AID choose the bios flashing from the tools section. This should allow you to update your bios to X2 5035. This is(imo) the best bios available as it is very stable and very customizable.
If you look through the AID folders, you'll find some documentation on how to configure the X2 to boot to whereever your dashboard is. _________________
I think my Bios was looking for xboxdash.xbe I used the filemanager to change the evoxdash.xbe to xboxdash.xbe. I rebooted and Unleashx dash was there with some apps.
I am not sure what size BIOS I need for my Xenium Ice. The only Bioses the CD would let me flash were 256k and they look like they hung at erasing........
