evox m8 bios is good to go. However, if you want to boot a dash off another directory in the xbox, use x2 live. _________________

Correct on Blazer's part. The guys over at teamXecuter worked their asses off to try and make their bioses the most compatible in the market. And they've done it. EvoXM8+ is a dead bios, just like the dashboard. It's slow, buggy, and slow. Yes, it's slow. Also, make sure you use the bios that best supports your box. You want a large Hard drive (over 137GB) make sure it has LBA support. Almost all bioses come with .nfo's or a text file explaining what they're capable of. Take your time and make sure the bios you're using is the right one.
If you need any help deciding which 5035 version is right for you, post your xbox stats here (xbox version and size of hard drive youw ant to use) and we'll get you the right file if we can. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

Well, i can't seem to find a 5035 that is 256K in size. I'm pretty sure the aladdin live has four 256K banks (1MB in size) so if you flash your chip with the attatched bios, you'll flash over the first two banks, which is just fine. Then, boot, and you'll be good to go.
Once you get it flashed, though, you'll be greeted by the MSDash. Don't worry, just pop in AID (it will run) and make sure your FTP settings are correct. If not, use the file manager to launch a hacked dash, and setup your network that way. Once you get that running, launch this program on your PC:
http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/download-file-1260.html
With that, you can change the way your Xbox boots and you're good to go.
Just a note, there's two bios files in this .zip. use the _old version for your box.
