I have copied a dvd of mine onto the xbox, but I'm not quite sure how to play it. I used dvd2xbox, and then i tried playing one of the files in xbox media center but there was no sound.
How do I get it to work properly?

delete the game you copied and try recopying the game and then try launching in through the games menu _________________

If it was a DVD movie, you need to launch the .vob file, it should be in VIDEO_TS _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Yes, it was a DVD movie that I was talking about. I tried playing any of the vob files, but then nothing happened. So I tried the very first file in the folder, it was an ifo file and the movie started playing. But there was still no sound.

alternatively get XBMC and use that for watching ur videos
