ok my frind saw my xbox and wants to know if i moded his if he can still use xbox live i sofmoded mine but not sher if i can still use xbox live can some one let me know if i can and how

If you want to softmod an xbox so it can play on live, you'll need to sign up for the live account and then softmod wtih SID4.5 It is availabe for download from this site. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

I belive you have to play xboxlive from the ms dash not fromn any other modded dash. That also mean You got to have the game disk can play it off the HDD from the M$dash

That made no sense, no offense.
I think what you mean is you cant play burnt games or games off the hdd if your going to go on live only the original disks, and with SID 4.5 it has a dual boot feature, the one you want to use is Dual Boot = Retail, but you must sign up for a live account with the xbox first on your xbox before installing the softmod.
When the softmod is installed and you want to go onlive you boot the xbox with the eject button with will remain green and the power button to goto the softmod the led will turn red and the softmod will be active that also means you can go onlive when the led is red. _________________

Once mine was modded by my friend, I was no longer able to go onto live, whenever I would try to go onto xbox-live, it would rather send me back to my main evolution x main screen or say I had error #21!
so is there a program to make it so that I can go on live again

But, if you already tried to hop onto live with a modded box, chances are you might be banned. But if you're not; you're lucky. Yes, XBL's servers are super fast, and almost always have someone to play against in almost any game you're playing. Not to mention, you're garaunteed NOT to run into cheaters.
