hi.....
i have made a java program that, runs on your mobile, an communicates with an other java program on your computer through a bluetooth serial port. the java app on the computer then sends commands to your XBMC webserver.
what you need to make this work is a phone that suppots j2me midp 2.0 cldc 1.1 and the jsr-82 add on,
like most new sony ericsson mobiles.
Current Compatible Phones Updated on HQ:
- Sony Ericsson W810i
- Sony Ericsson K750
please take a look att this download it and try it out, and give me som feedback....
here is a movie when I'm playing around with it......

very very nice..
Its amazing what guys can code in their spare time..
Great work.. Luv it..
Lets see some feedback members..
Maybe even a list of compatible phones would be nice.
If you think about it you could access the XBMC via http: anyway.. If you could setup your homenetwork correctly then you could access your xbmc via http or wap using your phone..
i was thinking about something like this but as always get side tracked..

All HQ Members,
if you have tested this app on your mobile/cell phone please reply with which brand and model you have so we can add it to the confirmed list.
J-Remote_v0.31 is on the way, this build supports CLDC 1.0, this makes it able to run it on for exampel SE p900. Here's a picture of the Browser function on a p900.

A Pocket PC port would be interesting, especially for the users that have one. I don't have one personally but I like the idea.
