OK guys, here's what is going on.

I want to see if there is anything currently on AID that is hardly ever used, or just simply not required. So what I've done is put up three posts (one each for the Dashboards, Apps, and Emulators) with the full list of programs available, and what I want you to do is to basically make your own list from the list I've given telling me what you think should be kept.

Thanks in advance for all the support you guys have given AID over the years Smile

Other Lists:

Emulators: Link

Dashboards List

Anod-X
Avalaunch
EvolutionX 3935
UnleashX
Xbox Media Center (XBMC)
X-DSL

UnleashX
Xbox Media Center (XBMC)

I don't think the x-dsl install even works, I've never gotten it to

Thanks for your input Smile

It should work, I wouldn't have set it up as a dashboard otherwise.

Yea, but the whole point to this is to clean it up and get rid of tools that are no longer needed.

Don't worry, if there's some programs that are not mentioned that I think still need to be there, I'll keep them.

I think all those dashes are good. I have never used x-dsl so I can't comment on that.

Well I would have to agree. keep Avalaunch, EvolutionX 3935, UnleashX and Xbox Media Center (XBMC).

Actually, the only one I used once, and never again was Anod-X. It just doesn't seem that good, in terms of options, layout, user friendlyness etc.

Yea personaly Anod-X didnt really grab me that much either. It does have some nice features (like going on the net to download new apps etc) but honestly I dont see many people using it these days.

Honestly, I think you can get rid of one of the two versions of FBA as far as emulators. The Dashes, let's just stick with the most Powerful, XBMC, Ava, Unleash, and EvoX.

As far as X-DSL, keep it. I'ma give 'er a test run tonight. I actually have a 1.6 I can try it out on, and I believe the 1.6 is the biggest problem with Linux and the Xbox. Before 1.6 Linux should work fine. But Like I said, I'll give it a try tonight and post back with results.

I acutally have a 1.6 sitting here waiting for me to fix. So I can test the whole 1.6 vs 1.0-1.5 theory. But I know that's your biggest problem, Greven. You have the ol' 1.6 Very Happy I'm classic, I've got my 1.1 Very Happy.

I've tried for hours trying to correct the x-dsl overscan problem on my 1.6, and have yet to find a solution. Its driving my mad. I've tried gentoox, but its pretty much the same. I just want something that will run firefox to the point where I can see the tool bar Smile

If I find one I'll recommend that it be included

[EDIT]
Just wanted to add that for x-dsl, you can use the standard AV pack on any non-1.6 and set the output resolution to 800x600 for the configuration, as well as telnet/shh and fine tune the video.
