how do i take the eeprom.bin off a xbox that is unlocked can i do it in my pc.. i tried but it said something in french about partions i also trie xplore360 but ti cant find the xbox harddrive in my computer.. do i need to set the jusmpers to master or what please help

but dont u need ur eeprom to use xbhdm mine is stuck on the harddrive i backed it up on the xbox harddrive but not on the pc harddrve thats y i need to no how to take it off

You're not totally fubared. If the drive is unlocked, do you know if there is a eeprom.bin backup on the hard drive?
If there is, do this:
Create an empty xboxhdm(no c, e, etc) disc, connect the drive and reboot into xboxhdm menus. When prompted choose 1, and then instead of xboxhdm you can choose explorer(I think thats what it is called);. This basically gives you midnight commander, and file expolorer that should allow you to copy the eeprom.bin from the drive to a floppy disk. You can then copy it into xboxhdms Linux\EEPROM, burn that one, and lock the drive. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
