I was sitting here downloading a buncha files off my xbox dvdrom to the pc and the ftp disconnected on me. I tried to reconnect and now it just says no route to host. Now I know the network is still connected because it still gives me the link on the xbox and when I turn the xbox on and off it shows network discconnect and connected on the computer.. But I cannot ftp or ping the xbox? I just recently maybe 3 weeks ago hard wired crossovers throughout the rooms in my house so I believe the wire is fine. Nothing on the PC or Xbox was changed when this happened I just don't understand it. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

Change your ip by one number on the xbox. This has happened to me a few times??? I just did that and bam I was on my way. _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

Yes that worked.. Now can anyone tell me why this is? Happened to me twice today... Once norton said My fxp was sending a worm inbound.. which couldnt be because i was uploading to xbox.. And it booted me and the ip locked up and I did what he said and changed the ip and it worked.. Then I uploaded again and it sent the file fine the second time no worm intrusion like it said the first time. I figure it isnt norton since it had not said anything about the first time it happened..
