i just went through makeing a 40 gig got it working but totally forgot to back up now drive is locked n e thing i can do

Like I said, how did you make it? Did you use xboxhdm? Did you use a chipped xbox?
What did you forget to backup, the 40 gig?
Which drive is locked, the 40 or the 200?

I agree, i'm trying to understand what your trying to say.. Sounds like your trying to say that you didn't back up the eeprom for the 40GB HD and now your trying to find a way to unlock the drive, is this correct. _________________ Xbox V1.3

yes elusiv 1 that is correct i have locked my 40 gig hd but i am not the person who started this thread. but yes its locked but i have the eeprom because its the same as my other hdd. and i used xboxhdm to do everything. But what gets me if i jus start xbox it gives error 13 but if i put splinter cell in it boots softmod menu??? but i cant ftp into it when there to fix the dash. and it wont boot AID

If it is booting into the softmod menu, you can change your netowrk settings to something that will work for you, restart, and then ftp the eeprom backup off. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
