I just formatted my 300 gig. hard drive using a.i.d 3.0. I then installed the ms dash 5960. On the F drive--->evox dah, apps. and emms. So I restart my xbox and instead of going to my evox dashboard, it goes to the ms dash on drive C? I can go to boot dahboards on drive F and everything is there but what do I need to do to correct this? I used the same steps the first time and everything was great now i'm confused!!

Your better off installing your apps to E and the Microsoft dash to C. That way you can go on Live if you want to with your chip disabled and not worry about getting banned. Put your games and emulators on F & G that way you'll have plenty of room to add or change things. My roms and emulators take up 10 gigs alone. Depending on your BIOS your modchip will look for a dashboard on the drives in a certain order I think most are F then E then C.

I fixed it. So by putting the msdah on c along with evox and turning off the chip will keep me from getting banned?

Yeah putting only the MS Dash and your game saves(TDATA & UDATA which will automatically be created) will keep you from getting banned. I made the mistake of putting Avalaunch and the MSDASH on the C drive on my first Xbox and I got banned even though my modchip was off. I've heard rumors of people getting banned in this set up but I think they did something wrong or had something on C they shouldn't. I've never seen anyone get banned if it's done right.
