Ok my xbox was fine last night and not its starting to act up. What should I do or look for to stop this from happening? Its use to just freeze up every now and then but now it just did it 4 times in a row?? Won't even boot to dash now?? Also when I hit the powerbutton it take like 30 sec. to turn off?? I haven't FTPed in a few days and it wasn't anything with the main dash or bios?? Could be anything really..
When you turn on your xbox does the flubber screen (xbox startup movie) work perfectly??
If it is jittering then more then likely the HDD is cactus..
We need more info.. Does it give you a color around the power led?? (this is a error led code)..

Well last night I toke out my big HDD and the box worked the best it ever been? So did my HDD get a bug from ftping?? Or what. As for anyother info...everything works fine till it goes to the dash. Mine was doing the same thing and the way that I fixed it is(you're not gonna like this) I put the AID disc in and reformatted the HDD. I lost alot of games ,but it works like a new xbox now. _________________ Life is like a jalepeno. What you do today, may burn your ass tomorrow!

I would love to hear that...but I can't even get it to load the disc....and you can hear the HDD working I didn't have anything I can't get back (backed up everything) I just don't want to wait or mess with the warr. on the HDD or messing with the company I got the HDD from. I am going to see a xbox and CPU guru and just give him my HDD. If you want man, just hook up with me over the weekend. I'll take a look at your machine and see what I can accomplish. Hopefully, nothing is too messed up and we can get it up and running right in no time.

I have absolutely no plans for the weekend so I am wide open. I get off work Friday at 4pm, but Saturday and Sunday I am off. If you still have my number just give me a call. Thank for the help....I have my HDD out now and am going to check if I can't just clean everything out and start over. maybe reflash the chip with new bios so I can have a G drive (the other fourm said this would cause this) _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!
