ok, got a friend who is wandering about laptops or pc's. first off, which PC is the best quality for cheap and the same goes for lap tops. He is going to get one or the other but needs a few specs first. I hear Acer's are comming up in the world. good warenty. Alien ware is out of the question for him.

If you haven't already, I'd suggest a post at www.pc-hq.com ,it's the pc location in the HQ network and a lot of pc experts are there.
They'd know, but the pc folks may or may not come here to xbox-hq.
