I get a 550 file error, can't open file, when I try to ftp avalauch into my xbox. I'm using flashfxp on a X3 ce chip with bios X3_3294. I can connect to my xbox with flashfxp. I have changed the ip address, login, password, and dhcp to static within xml file, still nothing.

Turn off all firewalls just to be sure..

If you want to install any new dashboards or apps i would seriously suggest using Auto Installer Deluxe 3 (http://www.aid.xbox-hq.com)

Once you download and burn the AID3.iso file to a DVD-R you can boot it in any modded xbox and install dashboards, apps or emulators directly from the disc.

for a DIY basic installer follow my tut at this link. A useful way to put dash and bios files onto the xbox via DVD-R

Does it have to be a dvd-r. Can it be a cd-rw. That's what I loaded by bios with.
