Hi,
I have a v1.6(most likely) Xbox with the latest MS Dash (5960). I softmodded it using the SID 4.0 NKnave and SplinterCell NTSC saves.
First, I did all the backups and installed the softmod with UnleashX.
Everything went smooth and it also showed a message that the install was successful. I can boot up UX fine and all my backups (DVDs only) work fine and I can FTP to my XB also.
But I have the following issues. Please help.
1. I dont see either the F drive or the G drive in either FTP or file browser through UX. I enabled them in the setting and all that but it doesn't help. What's wrong and how can I fix it?
2. The apps menu says its empty and the Launch DVD doesn't work, I mean, I can't play movies. I guess, this could be related to the #1
3. I copied some music to the HDD before modding. I can't access my music through UX
4. How and where can I install additional apps? I would like to ftp them in.
5. (solved)When I try to launch the MS dash, it says cannot find c:\msdash.xbe. I was able to fix this problem. I read it in one of the other posts
And I dont know if this might help, but UnleashX hangs once in a while.

Thats probably because you have a RETAIL (original) xbox hdd dont you.. You only get a F and G drive if you have installed a larger hard drive into your xbox.

You have to make sure you have your dashboard linked so when you insert a movie it will use DVDx Player program or use XBMC..

Nope, probably not.. I would suggest installing XBOX MEDIA CENTER from AID.. XBMC.. With this installed you should be able to manage everything and rip your cd's
