i have just downloaded AID 3.0 and the 3.01 update pack, burnt it to DVD no problems and then used it to upgrade my XBMC dash which is installed on F if it makes any difference. I have a 120GB hdd with an Xecuter 3 Modchip.
Everything works fine apart from the audio page is just a black screen, with no text what so ever on every skin. there are no functions apart from pressing the back button which returns me to the main menu.
everything else works perfectly. am i overlooking something?

try going to settings on the main menu screen, then in the left colum, click "Reload Skin" _________________

nope no help. still a black screen. and its the same on every skin i have installed.
i have even deleted all references to xbmc and reinstalled fresh, same problem
It looks like one of the XML pages is missing, or bugged, but without knowing what to look for I cant diagnose the problem myself.
I can play audio files manualy by launching them through the file browser, but obviously I'd rather have the propper interface.
any other suggestions where i can go from here?

Try opening the xboxmediacenter.xml in internet explorer. It will halt on the line with an error. _________________

ok deleted the whole lot and started again. installed on E drive this time, no problems at all, so not sure if it just doesnt like the F partition or whether it was conflicting with a file i had missed on F but either way problem solved.
How do you mean the scripts page is missing? no scripts or it just goes black when you click scripts?
I'm assuming you added the scripts to your AID 3 ISO
