i have a xecuter 2.6 ce modchip and i need to flash a bios to it now... i have cdr's not cdrw's.. my xbox has a philips dvd drive which if im not mistaken reads cdr's... i downloaded aid 3..... so all i have to do is burn a bios cd now.... what program do i use to burn the bios to disc, and which bios should i use???

get a programmer and go to the download section and download the Xecuter 2 Bios Manager v2.3 (XBM v2.3)worked just fine for me,and then go into your aid folders and grab what ever bios you choose to use.that what i did.when you do use the bios manager on the bottom it will let you know whether or not the chip is detected.it will say either not x2 not detected or it will show a pic of the chip and say x2 detected if you need anymore help just pm me i have the next two days off of work so i will be checking the forums more frequently.if your in the same area you can borrow mine im in mesa,arizona.

Don't worry about using the disc. Hook up the chip and set it to bank 2, Chip on, flash protect off. If the seller did it right, you'll have FlashBios 3.0.3 on bank two, which allows network flashing. Just download the bios of your choice, connect to your xbox via Web Broswer, the IP is given on the screen after you select network flashing. Then, just point the browser to your .bin file, and you're good to go. It will show the flash progress on your screen and you're off like a rocket.
If you don't have a programmer (which isn't an option with the X2.6CE most of the time) then I suggest leaving bank 2 flashed as FlashBios 3.0.3 and just use bank 2 to flash bank 1 with whatever you want, whenever you want. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

thanks guys , but yea im good now , i just flashed with my router and everything went through perfecto!!!! big cheers and thanks to all and everyone that helped me through my turmoils of getting my xbox up and running!!!
