Hi,
I modded my v1.1 xbox with Aladdin XT chip have a EvoX M8+ (256) Bios, and upgrade HDD to 250GB. But it only show 137GB for my new HDD. So I try to upgrade my Bios with AID 3.01 with Evox M8 Plus Stealth 137 GB+ bios. And when i try to flash it, it come up with an error said "Manufacturer ID bf Device ID 52, Flash type SST 49LF020A, Error reading file"
Can anyone tell me what wrong?
What is the best bios to flash? What is the step to flash the bios?
Many Thanks

how are you flashing your modchip??
Via USB using a PC or on the xbox console itself using a dashboard like EVOX??
If you are using a dashboard you will have to make sure you have updated for example to evox.ini file to be certain it includes the newer bios definition.
Personally i would have stuck with the m8 normal and just reformatted the G:\ drive using AID.. It would have then shown up..
Another tip.. You may need to enable G drive in your dashboard options.

Have you tried a new copy of the bios file?
Did you by chance edit this new Bios file? (on occasion when you edit a Bios it can end up corrupting the file.) _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

If you flashed it with a 137+ Bios, then you need to reformat the F: drive not the G: drive to get the rest of your HDD. _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!
