hi i am very new 2 all this softmodin stuff i have read most of the forums bout softmodin here at xbox-hq so i pretty much get the idea,but i am still rusty so bare with me please.
i want 2 softmod me xbox using Softmod Installer Deluxe 4.0 N-Knave Edition
or what ever the new version is.i have read and understood the way 2 do so but i need some guidelines and tips 2 get goin with my modin.

Your best bet for guides is to have a hunt through our tutorials sections..
You dont have to use SID 4.5 either.. SID 3.0 worked just fine and i still use it..
There are many more tutorials for SID 3.0 etc etc then 4.5.. You will probably find more answers on SID4+ in the forums..
hey i was just wonderin what softmod instaleer to use and where 2 get it from.
also what dash should i pick evox or UnleashX

I would use evox first as you need to make a backup of youre eeprom and evox makes it much more simple,,,,, or it did for me.
It is a good Idea to back up everything once you get your softmod done,,,, before doing anything else!!
After all of that is taken care of you can play with different Dash Boards and see which one you like best. _________________
